Accoya Swing Gates, Surrey

The Project:

The client contacted us via our website and requested a quotation to remove their existing brick piers, twin manual gates, enlarge the existing driveway entrance and replace with Accoya swing gates.

The project also included the construction of two new brick piers built from orange stock. The brick piers also benefitted from up and down lights, Lettasafe letterbox and house name and number sign.
The client decided on a straight top design for the Accoya swing gates, finished in a light oak preservative. Accoya wood is non-toxic, 100% recyclable and for us, the most requested material when it comes to hardwood gates.
The gates are powered by two BFT ELI 240V underground motors. These motors are completely sealed and fully waterproof, by ensuring sufficient drainage is in place these motors can last for many years.
We installed a Telguard GSM intercom and keypad finished in brushed stainless steel, allowing ease when controlling access via the gates.  The Telguard GSM intercom comes fitted with a standard SIM card allowing the system to make contact with a mobile or landline when visitors use the keypad element.

Delivery:

The project took approximately six weeks from start to finish. We usually divide the project into two sections within the aforementioned timeframe.

“This project was a nice straightforward install for our team. Most of our work comes through existing client recommendations and our website, which showcases a large gallery of installs we have completed over the years. Projects like this one are satisfying for us and the customer, seeing the final driveway transformation from start to finish”. – Lee Hilton, Windlesham Gates
